Although not a native born Nevadan (I was born in Australia), I have lived in the Reno area for the majority of my adult life, where I have enjoyed contributing to the health and welfare of our 4-legged, furry, best friends for the last 15 years. I attended the veterinary technician program at TMCC and graduated with my LVT license in 2009. I find
educating and helping people take better care of their pets greatly rewarding, but I am just as interested in being a part of critical and emergency care, so enjoy doing relief work at the Animal Emergency Center. When I’m not working, I’m outside (as long as it’s warm!) playing at the Lake or barbequing. Or during the cooler months, I love to hang out with friends, watch movies, eat, and just have fun with my wonderful boyfriend, his son, Molly (crazy dog), Wheezy (crazy cat), and Mr Kitty, the sweetest soul I’ve ever met!

I am originally from San Jose, CA where I grew up in very busy city. After relocating to Reno about 10 years ago, I can't see myself living anywhere else at this point in my life. Since I can remember, I've always had an interest and love for animals. I've been in the veterinary field for about 8 years now and took a minor detour into the pharmacy world but soon realized my passion was with animals. I'm actually a returning team member here at AMC/RHC and it's been such an awesome experience coming back here! I have a cat called "Meatball" and a boston terrier we call "Sammy Sox." I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend(s)!
